Jule Japhet is a writer, producer, actress and director, known for Partisane Arise (2012), Tak tak (1992) and L'amour (1990), as well as a songwriter, singer and a multimedia arts performer and creator of experimental theatre. She gained worldwide recognition for the play “I am an Emotional Creature: The secret life of girls”, written by Eve Ensler, a piece that helped a whole new generation of young women to understand the complexities of adulthood and their potential futures.

Much of Jule’s recent work has involved exploring new forms of experimental arts, working with the playwright and anthropologist Enrique Vargas at Teatro de los Sentidos as well as with Gérald Toto in delving into reflections on global migrations, new images of humanity and new social anchors.
